  1. Hi

It depends on whether you held a Motorcyle Licence, or whether you were riding with 'L' plates after completion of a CBT.

The thing that you have to consider with Compulsory basic training is that the certification will expire After 2 years IF you do not take your test.

The DVLA should have informed you whether you will be back on a provissional licence status or not.

The way to assess the situation is, What does it currently state on your licence, have you got Motorcyle or class 'P' entitlement?

You should telephone DVLA and ask them your current status and what the outcome will be. I have put the number underneath for you.

  2. Okay, let's get this right for you.  I assume you had a full motorcycle licence.  You will NOT have to take your test(s) again unless the Court ordered that you do so.  The "Two Year" rule is nothing to do with it.

What you WILL have to do is apply for the return of your licence, it won't come back automatically.  DVLA are supposed to send out a reminder but knowing them you may not receive one.  No doubt you will remember though!

  3. Hi

to say you have got problems is an understatement

First you will have to take your test again because you was banned within the first two years of having your licence

Second you are going to be really stung for insurance when you try to get any that is if any will insure you

and you will have to put up with that for at least four years because that's how long it stays on your licence for .

You will have to reapply for your licence back yourself no one will tell you when you can have it back OK

    Hope this helps
