Map quest is the most popular but i personally perfer yahoo maps.  THey tell you better diections i think

If you are really bad with directions like some people are, make some 'land markers' (places along the route you are going to travel to watch out for such as turning right at the 7/11 and left at the little white church) or if you want to go all out and spend some cash (up to several hundred dollars), buy one of those dashboard navigators that tells you where you are in a turn by turn way.

You can also go to MapQuest.com and print out a map, highlight your route and try to follow it.

I, personally,  may be a little bit old-fashioned, but I prefer to forego the added expense of the computerized technology and stop at a gas station if I get lost (it's a Female thing that you may not understand--LoL)
