Driving from Penn. to NJ.?

So i got my learners permit in PA in December, and i was wondering if i am able to drive to NJ and drive around there?

I have driven for over the required 50 hours, so its not like i am just beginning to drive.

I just have to wait until June to get my juniors liscence because i am not 16 and 1/2 yet.

I know my way around NJ since i lived there before.

And i passed the 50 question drivers test in NJ after taking Drivers Ed in NJ, so its not like i am unaware of driving there.

And its only going to be a one-day thing.

And i will be with my mom who has her liscence from PA, and had one from NJ, and is over 21.

Or is it still illegal?

thanks.

  1. Your learner's permit should be good in NJ, but you should go to their web site to learn about their restrictions... like no cell phone use or times when you cannot drive.

I highly recommend calling NJ licensing to be sure.  They do not have a out-of-state toll-free number.
