Driving from San Diego to Rosarito, Mexico?

None of the map sites will let me print maps for this. I've tried google map, mapquest and yahoo. I thought there was a way to drive from California to Mexico. Help?

yes of course you can drive.  Its about: 37.6 mi, 37 min .  Roasrito is 14.1 miles from the boarder so no you will not need insurance or a car import permit .

You have to BUY a road map for MEXICO and they are about $3 for a good one.. most stationary stores near the border have them as do book stores.

isn't Rosarito more than 25 miles from the border?  What are you going to do about INSURANCE?  It's not cheap.. if you can't afford to buy a map of Mexico, how can you afford $250 for mexican insurance.?

OH... don't miss the statue of Padre Pio... it's in the town square in Rosarito
