Driving from Tijuana-CaboSanLucas on Highway 1(8-10hrs a day)which cities are best to stop in for the night?

I'm going to start doing my research for the trip but wanted a bit of a head's up as to what cities would be good to make stops in for the night on our way to Cabo San Lucas, giving around 8-10 of driving time per day, hope someone can help! :)
