  1. Well, yes, it can be done.  But if you have been trying to use mapquest or some such site, it may be giving you only the US route because that is probably shorter.  So look at a map of Canada and do your mapquest search and put in a couple of extra stops in Canada so that the site will have to give you a totally Canadian route.  It will most likely be the TCH - trans Canada highway, which you could probably follow anyway without a map just by watching the road signs.  Best of luck with it.

  2. Of course. It's called the Trans-Canda highway for a reason. It will probably take a day or so longer than going through the US. It's 3,000 miles give or take a few. Actually, I'm lying. If you want to travel from one side of Canada to the other you still have to take a train. There's a handy little item you might want to get hold of before you leave. It's called a road map. They seem to be going out of style these days, judging by the number of people who have apparently never used one. You can even get them for free from government information booths, or read one fast next time you're at a gas station.

  3. Of course it can but it is a very long drive.

  4. Of course.  Hwy one through western Canada to the Ontario/Manitoba border then hwy 17 over the Shield to Sudbury then south on hwy  69 to hwy 400 to Toronto.
