  3. Lets see I'm driving from Philly to Detroit and back.... We're bringing 300 dollars and the car gets roughly 300 miles to a tank..  seriously.. go like fill your tank up and figure out how many miles a tank you get and once you do that figure out how much money in total you need by figuring out how many miles to your destination... and ALWAYS bring extra money... just incase

  4. I live in AZ, gas isn't $2.40 a gallon here. It's closer to $2.90.

  5. how many miles per gallon does the car get?

I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber that gets about 28 highway miles per gallon with a 13.5 gallon tank, and low fuel light comes on about 300 miles....

so for my car for 2000 miles, I'd need about 7 fillups for 13 gallons of gas a fill up.  With the highest gas of $3.15 each fill-up would be about $40 each time, and with 7 fill-ups per trip....I'd take $300 just be be safe for gas (one way)

  6. You seem to have left a variable out...how much MPG do you get?
