My partner and i are planning to hire a car and drive through italy. We are hoping to do this over a period of 3 weeks.

We hope to start in the south and end in the north. We have already visited Venice and Rome.

Any ideas would be well appreciated!

Many thanks

Celeste

  1. We have done a few trips these are a few examples:

we started in Bologna and drove down the Tuscan coast visiting pisa florence  San Giminano Siena then over the the Beautiful Isle of Elba.

We started at Bologna and drove to Ravenna, Rimini Cattolica, Pesaro( that where Pavarotti had his Villa over looking a quiet bay). then inland to Lake Trasimeno  perugia, then flew home from Ancona.

Fly to La mezia terme (Calabria) Drive down the fab coastline. visiting Tropea, Cape Vaticano, Scilla and over to Siciliy (Ferry very cheap)

We had a fab time. Did it in September so easy finding accommodation and weather was hot but comfortable for travelling and site seeing
