i am going to a town near moncton in new brunswick for a week. i have a learners permit and i am sixteen years old. can i drive in canada?

  1. No. The 1949 Convention on International Road Traffic requires that you have a valid driver's license in your home country; a learner's permit is not a license and therefore does not count.
