  1. if it wasnt him,and you know for a fact YOU are in the right ,if it were me, i wouldn't stop driving....DVLA are always making ball's up's...

you need to see the dates of the stops, find out the coppers name and make an appointment to see him...he should know strait off if its not your son....you need a statement to the fact, signed by him...get as much paperwork as possable, photocopy it,send a copy to the DVLA, send IT ''SIGNED FOR'' through the post...cos they often cry ''we havent received anything'',this can be disproved when you supply the date and the name who signed for it.....

  2. this is easy to sort out go and see a solicitor and if it was not your son it will be sorted the same day because if he was arrested for drink driving he will have been finger printed and had a DNA swab taken its all down on record now so mistakes  just don't happen if it is  him though he will be charged with wasting police time and also billed for all the tests they will use to prove it was him

  3. Haven't had the problem but here is the complaints procedure. Don't let it drop if you know you are in the right keep pushing till they admit they were wrong. If you google 'DVLA mistakes' there are people that have had this problem and have got their licence back.

  4. Hire an attorney, if he really did nothing pursue it in court.  Otherwise if someone needs to drive for work purposes on a suspended liscense a judical driving permit can be issued if the employer rights a letter saying that driving is necessary.

  5. 1.. your sons lying to you

    2 Solicitor time

  6. you will have to go to either the DVLA again and make a formal complaint or speak to your local council and arrange for them to do something

  7. Someone else has cloned his licence, the eastern Europeans are very adept at this.He can get the Police to go over the details of the supposed offences, the chances are he can prove he was not in that area at that time. This is always supposing that he has not lent it to his friends or taking the rap for money as they are banned,or whatever other reason you are not yet aware of.Lads do some stupid things at times.
