Driving license...what?

now that i am turned 18, and i would like to apply for my driving license, can some one please tell me what is the first step i have to do, like the kind of application forms, etc...and the next steps

Go to your local DMV and start at the "Start Here" window.  They'll get you going in the right direction.

hiiii, i'm 17, and i just went thru the whole driving thing. okay well basically just go to dmv.org and they will have all the answers for you there (: good luck! and buckle up, we dont need another teen statistic against us hahaha (:

(1) go to DMV and pick up driver manual

(2) study

(3) go back and take the written test - pass

(4) with the learner's permit practice driving

(5) you might have to take the 5 hour class

(6) take the road test - pass

(7) be happy.

Go to your nearest post office and ask for the form.  Most post offices will stock it.  Or go here

Fill in your name and address, click form D1 and click submit.

Form D1 always comes with a booklet which explains what you need to do next.

Go to your local driver's bureau. GO to your state's driver liscence website & make sure of the documents that you'll need. You'll need your social security card, proof of address, etc. You go into the driver's liscence bureau & say "I need to get a driver's liscence" and go from there.

go to the post office if you are in the UK

you will need a provisional licence to start with and a photo of your good self
