I suck at rounding im the worst anyways

I have to round the miles on an odometer the thing is

23456.9 i haev to round the miles on a odometer to the nearest HUNDRED mile. What woudl that be and how did you get it? and Which one is the HUDNRED mark

Simplify what you're asking..

Anything under 5 you round down. Anything above 5 you round up. If it's 5 you generally round up, just to be safe.

Example, rounding to the nearest hundredth:

143 -> 100

178 -> 200

1,867 -> 1,900

34,622 -> 34,600.

The places go as followed: the 2 is the ten thousands place, the 3 is the thousands place, the 4 is the hundreds place, the 5 is the tens place, the 6 is the ones place, and the 9 is the tenTHS place.
