  1. fo, get help from a professional instructor. There are so many things that could be wrong with your swing that it's nearly impossible to offer the fix you're looking for here on Yahoo!Answers.

  2. You're slicing more than likely because your weight is on your back foot and you're not transferring it to your left side(opposite if you're left handed).  Also your face isn't squared at impact so that will make your shots go to the right.  Work on squaring your clubface at impact and transfer your weight forward.  It's all timing.

  3. Try http://www.goosepoops.com.  They have video golf tips that might help your whole game.

They have links to several retailers for golf gear (ie: clubs, balls, shoes, gloves, apparel etc.)

It's also a network for golfers where you can join or form groups, have discussions in a forum, read and comment on user submitted golf stories, submit your own golf stories and find courses.

  4. Slicing is most often caused by an outside to inside swing. Which means that your clubhead is approaching the ball on the downswing from the outside. Look at it like this....set up a ball on a tee, now lets pretend that the ball is a clock and twelve is pointing downrange, when you slice its due to the clubhead hitting the ball at five oclock and the face being open( which means that the face at impact is on an angle that has the toe slightly behind the heel). Try keeping your right elbow tucked into your side so that the head goes into the ball at seven and comes out at 1. Good luck.

  5. The problem is most likley in your swing, but there are a lot of problems that can produce a slice.

  6. Need more info:

Does your ball start going left and then curve back right?  Does it start down the middle and then curve right?  Or does the ball start to the right and then go further right?

Whatever the path of the club swing is at impact, is the direction the ball will start.... wherever the face of the club is pointed at impact is the direction the ball will finish.

The ball slices (turns to the right) because the face of the club is open when it contacts the ball.

Buy this product - (no I am not a salesman, but this thing works)

... or at least watch this video and see what you think. You can make your own for about 5 bucks.

  7. make sure that in your backswing you are not collapsing your elbow. once you allow your elbow to bend, the club gets closer to you and it is hard to close the club face square during impact.

  8. You need to hook it.

  9. close your club face slightly and drop your back foot bacwards just alittle dont widen your stance stagger your feet turn your hands inward towards each other reach for the ball and take a practice swing
