On Jan 1, 2008 I had an accident. It was my fault. I paid the ticket and had the option of going to a traffic school so I don't get points in my license. I paid everything and was fine. Now it's August and I have points in my license. I find out because i was going to renew my insurance. What happened?? I did everything I had to do. I paid and went to the school, I got all my copy's and proof that I paid everything on time and went to the school. please help!!!! Thanks

  1. Whne you register for traffic school they will ask you what county you are trying to clear your ticket for and then they should report your completion automatically. Or You can take your completion certificate to I think DMV (If it's not DMV I believe you send it to the court, I'm leaning more towards the Court).

IF you go personally to the clerks office they can fix it right then and there. The points should be there anymore.

Are you sure you went to traffic school on time? The Judge can revoke your privilage to go to traffic school if you didn't go to school on time.

Go to the clerks office at the Court House ASAP!

  2. Take all your paperwork that proves your case to your local DMV (department of motor vehicles) or driver's license bureau. You may also need to go directly to the courthouse to get an answer and hopefully get it worked out. Good luck.
