With your driving test, on the vision exam, is the eye machine split by a partition to where half of the letters/numbers are on each side or is it just in the middle of the machine to where you can read it with one eye?

Can you see the (same) letters with both eyes or do you see half with one eye and half with the other?

  1. It is half and half  therefore, a "B" will look like an "E" if you close one eye.  Wear contacts and say you don't have vision problems to avoid the restriction.  Or, you can get the glasses provision and tell any questioning officer you have on your contacts.  Ta-Da!

  2. They will check each eye individually and if you do wear contact or glasses you will still have the restriction on your license and the answer above is wrong...........................
