Driving the Cassiar Highway....HELP?

I googled the map from Hwy 16? to Hwy 1, driving Hwy 37, the Cassiar Highway...it tells me 19 HOURS to drive the 37...is the speed limit 12 miles per hour?! I just wasnt sure if there was something along this hwy Im not aware of...

I DO HEAR ITS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HWYS TO TAKE...

Well, highway 37 is certainly not an express freeway.  It's a small, twisty-turny highway that goes through the Skeena mountains and along many rivers and lakes.  Also, there are sections of the route that are unpaved.  So, 700 kilometres is a much slower drive on a road like that, compared with travelling on something like the Yellowhead highway.  Driving in northern Canada may not be what you're accustomed to.   :-)
