  1. Do it the other way around...You may need to practice this in a safe area. Drive your car out of a parallel parked situation but study how you are going out and copy it in reverse.

  2. my little tip to you is:

try driving up to the vehicle that you wish to `reverse park` behind and lining up the wind-screen support pillar with your Passenger window.

this will give you the distance measurement of 3/4`s of that cars length for you to Gauge by.

when beginning to reverse , start to point the Boot of your car `into` the Parking space

then use the front wind-screen pillar of your car to be aligned with the boot of the other car , before swinging the nose of yours around to `slide` in behind the boot of the other car.

this will place you very roughly parallel to the curb and away from the other car.

to do this in the "reverse" = driving into the Parking space , use the front pillar of your car at the same spot and then begin to turn `into` the space.

point the nose of your car , at about 45 degrees to the curb (about mid-way between the gap) and then turn the steering in the Opposite direction ,until you can straighten-up.

then keep the steering straight and move in reverse until you are correctly aligned with the Curb.

it `is` easy , trust me , only your Confidence in applying this manouvre counts.   good luck and have fun Practising.
