Driving to benidorm from peniscola in june,any nice place to break trip?

Valencia?  It doesn't look like that long of a drive, unless you are looking for someplace to have lunch...If you are looking to stop for the night, it seems too short a drive.

With the greatest of respect, the drive is only around 3 hours and as most of it is on motorway, it's hardly worth leaving the motorway for.   Perhaps your best bet to break the journey is to take a stop at a service station, en route.   The distance between Peniscola and Benidorm is 294 kms (183 miles).

When you get there, perhaps you'll have a pint for me in the Western Saloon, next to the Ambassador Hotel.   Cheers.
