Driving used car without title?

Question

Private sale. Basically, the title will be mailed from the previous owner's bank to me, where i take it to the dmv, register, and they send the title to my bank. Them mailing the title to me will take a couple of weeks however. Is there any way I can drive the car while waiting for the title? If not, how can I get the title quicker? Can I go right to her bank with her and ask for it? Is there any other way around this? I'm in Massachusetts btw.

Probably because their bank confirmed it for their bank to send a check to that account number.  Have you ever purchased a car with a lein before?  Think Before you offer crappy advice on something you know nothing about.
