Driving w/ inscructor?

oh gosh, so today was my first time driving with an instructor- and it went ok, I felt really nervous it's a lot diffrent from driving with anyone else? Any advice?

The same thing happen to me! I was so nervous!! BTW, it was rainy on da day of my first drving with behind the wheel!! The other girl tht i drove with, i knew her since 7 grade! The person tht was da instructor, i knew him since my sophomore year of high school!!!  

well, my advice is that the person (ur partner) that is with u when u went drving is to talk to ur partner more! The more u talk, the more u will feel comfortable being with the person!

The instructor has 2 jobs - a) teach you how to drive and b) get you ready to pass your road test . The best thing is to keep your eyes doing your scan - mirrors, front, instrument panel (repeat) . You can mix it up a little, but keep your peepers moving, otherwise you tend to get drowsy . Keep your speed around the posted speed limit . Adjust for traffic and weather . Know what you can and can't do at an intersection . Watch for pedestrians and responding emergency vehicles and know what to do in each case . As you get more practice, the instructor should not have too much to say while you are driving . And I hope you get a chance to follow a road test in progress so you can see what they do and where they go . That way, no surprises.
