  1. It depends on where you are at. In MN (where I live), teens can drive with a provisional license alone, but only during certain hours of the day. They also cannot talk on a cell phone while driving, and can have only one person under the age of 25 as a passenger if they are driving with out a parent or guardian.

If the law where you live says you are not allowed to drive unsupervised, and you get caught driving on your own, you could lose you license for a period of time (again, depends on where you live).

  2. It's a criminal offence and apart from putting yourself and everyone else in danger, you won't be getting a driving licence for a long time! The real learning to drive starts when you pass your test and we all have to go through it. Your choice and your loss.

  3. You shouldn't be thinking of the penalty - you should be thinking of the safety of both yourself and other people. Pass the test first, and then drive with a clear consience.

  4. Well best advise i can offer you is "don't even think about getting behind the wheel" Why would you even consider it ? you wouldn't be insured and if caught you'd have at the very least a 1yrs ban and god forbid you should be involved in an accident and injure or worse kill someone, you could end up in prison for up to 5 yrs . what would be the point of risking it !!

  5. if you need to ask that then please give up now !!!

  6. You're absolutely crazy even thinking about it and if caught you could have your license taken off you and then what would you do. Particularly if you are in the UK, the cops look out all the time for young drivers as they seem to assume youngsters don't get insured.

    Don't do it.

There's an old saying and it does for anything in life....

    When in doubt...leave it out.

  7. You would be charged with driving without a licence, but also -- and more importantly -- driving without insurance, as the fact that you are not an approved driver invalidates any cover you may have taken out. You would therefore at best be fined several hundred pounds and be given a minimum of six points on your driving licence. Don't be a fool!

(This is on the UK page, so this is a UK answer.)

  8. Simple answer to this.  If you are caught driving whilst on provisional, then you will get  fined and have 3-6 points on your license.

If you get 6 points within first 2 years of driving, then your license will be revoked.

As a result of getting caught, you could also get your vehicle sezied to.

  9. It's known as "Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence" and will earn you 3 - 6 points plus a hefty fine. You can actually be arrested on the spot for this piece of stupidity.

  10. i been driving for 7 years now!! never been caught!  have insurance though.

    good luck and be careful
