Driving without a License in Los Angeles CA?

So about 8 years ago I got a ticket for driving with out a license and didn't make my court date, and out of fear of maybe going to jail and lossing my job and apartment I've been putting it off. But I finally want to take care of it and wanted to know what to do and what could happend
