Question:

Driving without registration and insurance?

Okay so I just received a car from a relative. Can I drive this legally even though the registration paper and the insurance paper show it under his name. I am insured, but I don't have it on paper to show the police if I ever get pulled over. I also don't think the title of the car was officially signed over to me yet. Help anybody?

  1. If it hasn't been signed over to you, it isn't your car yet.  If you're stopped, you're driving a car that isn't yours.  Do you have anything showing they gave it to you?  If not it could be a problem.  I'd get it transferred into your name and get insurance on it before driving it.

  2. I'm not an expert on this, but I would suggest you take a tour here, there are expert's tips over there.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  3. i think you can drive it,, what wrong driving some1's car, as long your relative not call the police said you stole the car.

I dont get it what your title said is different to your description, "Driving without registration and insurance?"  but you said you are insured so arrr..

As long u got insurance that will be fine, czu insurance cover with person not the car..
