Chelsea forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 has gone on to insist that he wants to stick around at the Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.
Over the course of the last couple of months, Drogba has gone on to get dropped to the bench and the forward has even sat out a number of games altogether.
With the way things were shaping up for the player, just about everyone assumed that he would be heading out of the Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.
However, the striker has gone on to insist that he would much rather stick around and retire at the club.
Drogba was once again in the midst of things for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, by winning the second leg by four goals to one. Drogba went on to score the opening goal of the game and even
went on to pick up the assist for the match winner, which was scored by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Branislav-Ivanovic-c7994.
Following the conclusion of the game, the striker was asked about his future at the club, to which he responded by stating: "It's true that many people said that it will be my last match in the Champions League but the story continues.”

"I hope my [Chelsea] adventure continues a long time yet. But I'm not master of my destiny. [I am] just hoping for more moments like this."

Despite the striker still not being sure about what the future holds for him, he was more focused on winning the game for the team. He also hoped that the win would boost the team’s spirits as they look to head into their coming games on top of things.

He continued: "It was important for us to qualify. Our spirit was more than positive - there was much joy in the end."
With Chelsea now being the only English team in the quarter finals of the Champions League, it is going to be interesting to see just how far they can go and whether they can actually win the tournament or not.
