Dromana Max draws his winning trap in the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Gents Trophy Heat 2
With the modest line-up of the second heat of the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Gents Trophy, the 2 to 1 entry, Dromana Max, leads the chances of claiming the race tonight. Salacres King, Wraysbury Falcon and Highview Quest tonight will experience racing at the most refined level of the sport for the first time. The 480 metres flat event will be staged at Nottingham on Monday, 5th November.

The orange trap got to business as soon as the race began. He did not wait for long to develop the highest pace in the field, and maintain dominance throughout the track distance. The final leap from the middle of the track had him concluding the race in 29.03 seconds.
The evening’s favourite for the race, Jordansoilutions, lost it by the margin of 2 ½ lengths.
The L. Cook trained failed miserably in the next chance that he got over 480 metres. He lost the Betfred ‘Home Of Goals Galore’ 480 metres Trophy to the fifth position while it was won by, Farloe Wolverine, in 29.24 seconds.
After three more outings, the four-year-old out of, Dromana Amy, Dromana Max, landed the final of the Stadium Bookmakers 480 metres Trophy on 10th September, 2012 at Nottingham.
The winner broke from the same trap that had bestowed him with success before. Racing in orange of the fifth gate, the four-year-old set in an early pace, maintained the charge throughout the distance, and took the final leaps in the middle of the track.
It took Dromana Max 28.86 seconds to add the race as a success on his profile.
The last two races have not been impressive the least bit, but it is expected that the two training sessions and the level of competition in the field tonight will make it easy for the blue dog to count the trip as successful.
