Drones and remote controlled toy planes?

How different is a drone compared to a remote controlled airplane? Is it flown in the same way as those remote controlled planes we buy in the toy shop?

Actually little difference, maybe materials, and controls. But, basically the same.

The real difference is the cost................you work for the government, then you charge 100 times more. OK, you charge a 1000 times more.
