Droopys Alivia predicted to sail through the Grade A1 event at Yarmouth
Greyhound race fans are highly anticipating the event at Yarmouth, which will be held on 15 February, 2012. The 6 runners will be competing for a prize of £113 after covering a course of 462m. This race is A1 grade and is creating excitement among the crowds.
The contenders for this race are Magellan Lad, Riverside Amber, Cloncunny Raymo, Borna Bundles, Droopys Alivia and District Nine.
Droopys Alivia has been in good shape. She secured first places twice this year at Yarmouth.
On January 25, 2012, she raced on a 462 m track and defeated Rosscam Blue by 3 lengths in 28.88 seconds.
On February 8th, 2012, she defeated Breakaway Harry by 1 and ½ lengths, and finished the race in 28.59 seconds.
It is speculated that she will lead the course as an early pacesetter.
Magellan Lad has had a slow career start. She once secured the first position at Yarmouth on January 23rd, 2012.
She had the winning odds of 7 to 2. She defeated Legit Jack by lengths of 3 ¾.
Cloncunny Raymo is also a tough competitor. He defeated Daves Choice by 2 lengths on January 18, 2012 in 28.39seconds.
Borna Bundles is also a top contender as she secured first place at Yarmouth on January 23, 2012.
She competed in a race of 462m and blazed past Oh So Fizzy, winning the race by 6 ¼ quarters in a time of 28.13 seconds.
Riverside Amber, the daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Riverside Trixie, is trained by J. A. White, and she is also competing at Yarmouth.
In 2012, she has not been in her top form as she failed to secure the top 3 positions in her last three races, two of them at Yarmouth.
Riverside Amber has a moderate style of racing and it is speculated that she may eventually gain some pace, if her training continues positively.
District Nine is not in his top form and his performance has not been ideal. The start of the year did not bring any success to him but he finished on February 8th 2012, at Yarmouth.
