Droopys Bach likely to prevail in the Steve Simmons March Hare Trophy Heat 1
Droopys Bach has very good odds of winning the Steve Simmons March Hare Trophy Heat 1 at Romford in England on Monday, March 5, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded with a cash prize of £150.
The 400 metres Grade OR event will start at 19:27 GMT and there will be six quality runners taking part in it. The names of the participants are: Droopys Bach, Crusing Gino, Packin Heat, Boo Boos Bella, Romeo Colarado and Fabulous Agenda.
The favourite hound is in very good shape at the moment and the punters will be hesitant over placing bets against his victory. He likes running at Romford, as his recent performances at the venue have been phenomenal.
In his last race at Romford, J. Reynolds’ trainee finished runner up. He was not the favourite to win that event, but managed to put up a solid show. He had every chance of winning that event, but fell short in the end.
However, the bookmakers are confident that he will be able to dominate proceedings today, as he has been carrying on with some solid momentum. The black dog is the son of Westmead Joe out of Droopys Chelsea and was born in June 2009.
Another greyhound, who has chances of shining at Romford, is Crusing Gino. He has been a touch inconsistent over the past few months, but will cause problems for the other participants, if he gets a clear run.
Crusing Gino last raced at Romford on February 3, this year. He was unable to put any pressure on the race winner, but managed a second place finish. His trainer, J. Mullins’ will be expecting him to deliver a stronger performance today.
The blue dog is the son of Hondo Black out of Cruising Olive and was born in December 2008.
P. Young’s trainee, Packin Heat, has also been producing some consistent results over the past few months. However, victories seem to have dried up for him, thus the bettors will be a touch hesitant over placing bets on him. He is the son of Royal Impact
out of Killaharry Dawn and was born in February 2010.
The remaining three runners Boo Boos Bella, Romeo Colarado and Fabulous Agenda might not find things easy today, as Droopys Bach looks in very good shape to steal the show.
