Droopys Betson likely to stand first in Stadium Bookmakers Standard
The P. Curtin-trained blue dog, Droopys Betson, looks to be the strongest candidate for the Stadium Bookmakers Standard that is going to take place at Oxford racecourse on Thursday night, July 12. The Open Race over 450 meters will commence at 21:20 (GMT).
In the £150 event, the three-year-old blue dog will show his guts against five worthy rivals after breaking from the red box.
Droopys Betson has made glaring marks in OR format of the game. The dashing dog marvellously finished first in the Stadium Bookmakers Standard over 450 meters at Oxford on July 5---he was 6-4 favourite for that event which was the last one of his career.
The brilliant son of Timor Blue out of Droopys Lotto nicely grabbed a grand triumph in an OR race at the same venue during the month of May. The experienced sprinter gained a couple of runner-up ranks in April. Earlier this year, he registered two back-to-back
victories during March.
These outstanding feats suggest that Droopys Betson possesses plenty of potential that will help him thrive in tonight’s marathon. He has up to 90 percent chances to carry the day.
However, Hack Up Golddust will try to create some hurdles on the way of Droopys Betson. The R. Baker-trained fawn b***h is on the verge of a hat-trick following her one grand victory each on June 28 and July 5. Prior to this, the brilliant b***h had gained
some runner-up ranks and thirds during May-June.
The talented daughter of Nobooth For Gary out of Gold Dust Lady started her career in November 2011. She has earned a number of favourite tags in her career.
Thus, there will be a fierce battle between Droopys Betson and Hack Up Golddust. Among the other runners, Swift Frogma is likely to do well tonight.
The G. Ballentine-trained brindle dog marvellously finished first and second in two consecutive races on July 1 and 5 respectively. This hound too has a number of OR triumphs to his name.
A large number of spectators are likely to turn out to the venue to enjoy the event. Let us see who of the three strong hounds carries the day. Good luck to all.
