Droopys Carl to surprise Hachiko in Dobbins @ Shelbourne A5 525 Final at Shelbourne Park
Hachiko is fully pumped following an impressive debut. Right at the start of his career, the black hound showed plenty of class, winning the first-round heat of Dobbins @ Shelbourne A5 525 with ridiculous ease.
Butler’s charge was impeccable right through the clash. He established supremacy in the beginning, and stayed ahead until the finishing line. A splendid effort guided him to a comfortable 12-length success.
After such a marvellous victory, the son of Droopys Kewell is flying high at the moment. Therefore, the bookies are expecting him to continue his ruthless march and win the finale at Shelbourne Park on Wednesday, September 19th.
It is very hard to overlook Hachiko’s chances, but a few racing experts have an entirely take on this. Droopys Carl is a lot experienced hound, and can outpace his junior competitor.
Winning two of previous three races is enough to prove his abilities. The black dog jumped up to the A5 level in the previous round of this championship. After starting the race from the red box, he took no rest, and secured the first place by eight and
a half lengths.
His finishing time of 28.58 seconds was slightly better than Hachiko. The son of Ace Hi Rumble is not enjoying the red box today, but still has the draw in favour. Starting the race from the sixth trap will hardly make any difference. There are plenty of
things in Droopys Carl’s favour, and a flawless effort will enable him to dominate the proceedings.
Other hounds in the pack are: Tyrur Quevega, Sheepwalk Ramble, Tyrur Tess and Regards To Paddy. The €400 event is due to get started at 20:00 GMT.
Tyrur Quevega was well beaten by Droopys Carl last time. The draw is unlikely to work in her favour. Regards To Paddy’s misery is expected to continue after a couple of unlucky defeats.
Any inside crowding will become a massive concern for Tyrur Tess. Sheepwalk Ramble, who was outsmarted by Hachiko last time, is unlikely to dish out revenge.
A two-way battle between Hachiko and Droopys Carl is on the cards. The latter is more experienced, and should be preferred. Good luck to all the hounds.
