Droopys Chase – the one to look out for in the Coral Supports MacMillan Cancer Standard
The 4 to 1 shot for the Coral Supports MacMillan Cancer Standard, the two-year-old black dog is, Droopys Chase. The 400 metres flat race will be hosted by Romford on Friday, 20th July. The fourth career success of the two-year-old black hound was in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy Final on 13th April at Romford over 400 metres. He settled the track distance in 24.12 seconds by being quick to race away after leaving from the fourth gate and then leading from the middle.
Droopys China qualified as the runner-up after leaping through the 4 ½ lengths gap and taking 24.48 seconds.
26th May, 2012, brought success for the two-year-old out of b***h, Droopys Gucci, in the Grade A1 400 metres flat race at Romford. He raced away quickly after bouncing out from the second stall and led for the remaining distance concluding it in 24.28 seconds.
Droopys Chase won by the margin of two lengths and was joined by the runner-up, Drumcrow Bond, who timed the track distance in 24.44 seconds.
The most recent success of the D. Mullins trained was in the Romforddogs.Com Standard on 6th July, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres. Following almost the same pattern that ensures the two-year-old victory, Droopys Chase rested the race in 24.33 seconds and had 2 ¾ lengths under his belt.
Settling as the runner-up was, Fabulous Agenda.
A win and then a third position, reflects his tuned form which will help him tonight.
