Droopys Cristian’s remarkable performance declared him as the fastest winner of the race
The renowned greyhound, Droopys Cristian, won the Betfred Steel City Cup - Heat 5 at the same racing track, Sheffield, where he has previously achieved the £200 purse, in the Owlerton Bookmakers Standard on the 17th of May, 2011.
The son of Droopys Vieri out of Westmead Joy raced really well and achieved the purse of £150 in the race held on 9th August.
The black male greyhound started his chase, from the early pace, and soon he was leading his other contenders.
Droopys Cristian made trainer E Parker proud by covering the distance in 28 minutes and 89 seconds.
Sporty Fortune, son of Westmead Joe out of Sporty Woman could not beat his contender, and came second in the race.
The black male greyhound, Sporty Fortune, under trainer R Warren tried really hard to come in the leading position, but he finished the race in 29 minutes and 37 seconds which shows that he took 2 minutes and 8 seconds more than the winner.
P Rosney’s Vaatican Stein, a two-year-old black greyhound, being crowded 3 in the race. He reached the finish line in, 29 minutes and 53 seconds.
Son of Kinloch Brae out of Ballymac Dot, won the famous Belle Vue Standard, on the 7th of July 2011, but this time, the luck was not in his hands, he started his chase from the trap 2 and came third.
The forth position holder Ballymac Mead couldn’t make trainer E parker proud by giving a good performance in the race. He finished his chase by covering the distance in, 29 minutes and 55 seconds.
Ballymac Mead, Son of Westmead Driver out of Ballymac Freddie, was the winner of the Night Continues at Napoleons Casino race, held on 8th July 2011, in the same track, where he has scored forth position.
Trainer J Walton’s Sundance Kid’s performance was very bad, he had a good start, but gradually he was left behind, and could not achieve a better position in the event.
Son of World Class out of Droopys Kara, started his chase from trap 1and reached the finish line in 29 minutes and 65 seconds.
The last greyhound participating in the Betfred Steel City Cup - Heat 5, was Little Hawk. The three-year-old covered the distance in, 29 minutes and 84 seconds, and came sixth in the race.
On the 12th of July 2011, he scored first position in the Owlerton Bookmakers 480 – Duplicated, at the same racing track where he has recently been declared, as the last one to finish the race.
Little Hawk, son of Honcho Classic out of Ambience Lady, has achieved victory, against his contender, Sundance Kid who is one position ahead in Betfred Steel City Cup - Heat 5.
