Droopys Doctor all set to stamp his rivals in Romford Stadium Standard
Droopys Doctor is returning to Romford after quite a while, but still he is expected to produce a great performance in the Romford Stadium Standard, being held on Friday, May 04, 2012.
The black dog was not impressive last time out. In a 375 metres flat heat, he ended up third behind Sundance Jet. However, the bookies and punters do not need much of a memory to recall his last success.
In his last appearance at Henlow, M. Hall’s trainee displayed a magnificent show, beating Air Force Solo by a couple of lengths. He is an experienced hound with an ability to turn things around within no time.
Hence, it would be an unwise decision to look elsewhere for the winner. The stage is set for him to show his class. According to the schedule, the 400 metres flat race will be started at 21:40 GMT.
The dashing hound will compete with Hondo Willy, Trappers Corner, Hercules, Redhot Desert and Sable Blue.
Hondo Willy is also doing a decent job these days. In mid April, he sealed an emphatic win in a similar race at Romford.
After gaining a handsome advantage at the third bend, the black dog made no error and seized the first place by one and a quarter lengths.
In the following two races, he could not maintain good standards and as a result, failed to make an impressive move. It is a good chance for him to regain his momentum.
Trappers Corner is a last-time-out winner. At the end of April, the black dog won a similar race by one and a quarter lengths.
Sable Blue would not be able to dictate matters tonight. Similarly, Redhot Desert needs a special run to do some damage.
Hercules is coming into this race after a couple of poor performances over 225 metres. Let’s see how he performs over four bends.
Droopys Doctor is unlikely to share success with anyone. However, Hondo Willy might be the one to spoil his party. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
