Droopys Falcon in the limelight for the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 1
Among the line-up of the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 1, the most recently successful candidate is, Droopys Falcon. His impressive performance has got him backed up by 7 to 4 for the race tonight. Competing alongside him for hawking away the £150 prize
money are, Zenyatta, Forest Fella, Parkwest Angel, Paulees Stevie and Mr Ruso.
The one to beat, Cabra Cool’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Droopys Chelsea, took off with the racing career just this season. He enjoyed his first success on 5th March at Hove over 285 metres by making the trip to the wire in 16.81 seconds.
Seven one after the other catastrophic failures led the trainer, C. Gardiner, to drill the two-year-old over 515 metres track distance on 3rd May at Hove. He closed in on the distance in 30.64 seconds.
Even the training did not direct the hound where connections had intended, as he ended third in the race that followed right after. On 10th May, Droopys Falcon parked third behind the winner of a Grade A5 515 metres flat race at Hove.
Good Moves Nod won the race in 30.80 seconds while leading by ¾ of a length. Roseville Maeve took up the second position after racing for 30.86 seconds.
Eventually the two-year-old won the Grade A5 Admiral Benbow Sails To Oceana on 9th June at Hove over 515 metres. Droopys Falcon completed the trip in 30.12 seconds with command over 1 ¼ length. Qualifying as the runner up after racing for 30.22
seconds was, Agostini.
Finishing the third behind the winner was, Clairekeith Esme while the favourite of the race, Quivers Dancer, ended fourth.
He missed the next two races to a third and second position however, he did not spare the contestants of his very recent race. He won the Coral, Bring It On! Maidens on 29th June at Romford over 400 metres. He was through the distance in 24.03
seconds by a massive margin of 6 ¼ lengths.
If he does keep up with the amazing performance that he displayed in the previous race, then his success tonight is inevitable.
