Droopys Falcon tipped to prevail in Book The Springtime Special On 01708 725 213
Droopys Falcon is expected to prevail in the Book The Springtime Special On 01708 725 213 at Romford in England on Friday, May 25, 2012. The winning greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of £150 in the end.
The Grade OR 400 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:02 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be taking part in it. Their names are as follows: Pennys Mambo, Droopys Falcon, Isit Possible, Galtee Tom, Slippery Rocky and Riverside Amber.
The bookmakers have shown more confidence in the abilities of Pennys Mambo, who has never taken part in a Grade OR event. His performances in trial runs have been good though, which might encourage the punters to risk some money on him.
However, looking at the previous performances of Droopys Falcon, it appears that he has the best chances of winning at Romford. He has got good stamina, which will help him make a strong impact in the race.
In his most recent Grade OR outing, the C. Gardiner’s trained runner did a decent job and managed to secure the third spot. He was up against some very good hounds, thus needed to be at his absolute best in order to win.
However, the black dog did not get a clear run and suffered because of that in the end. He was unable to come anywhere closer to his rivals and had to settle for third. If he gets a trouble free race, he will certainly finish above others at Romford.
Droopys Falcon is the son of Cabra Cool out of Droopys Chelsea and was born in January 2010.
Coming back to the chances of Pennys Mambo, he has taken part in a few trial runs, which do not justify his skills. He will need to make a strong impression in this class in order to attract more bets from the punters.
The D. Childs’ trainee finished second in a T3 event last time around, which shows that he is not at his best right now. Due to this, he might end up struggling at Romford today.
Pennys Mambo is the son of Kinloch Brae out of Pennys Mrsturpin and was born in September 2009.
