Friday night, The Coral Champion Heats were packed with entertainment and thrill thanks to greyhound Droopys Hester’s Swift performance in heat 4. He was the fastest victor amongst the four six winners of the heats.
In heat 1, trainer Diane Henry’s greyhound Honey Trampas emerged victorious.  He broke into a sprint right out of the trap, took the lead of the race and crossed the finish line in 35.40 seconds across the 575m track. Paul Young’s Bubbly Verdasco was way
below the league of Honey Trampas finishing the race eight and a half lengths short of him. Honey Trampas record was the second best in overall heats next to Droopys Hester’s 35.05 seconds.
In the next heat Droopys Luisao had the lead of the race until the fifth bend when trainer Maxine Locke’s greyhound Bridge Diamond Shifted gears and leveled with Droopys Luisao. After that it was nip and tuck between Bridge Diamond and Droopys Luisao all
the way to the finish line where Bridge Diamond won the heat 2 with just a point’s difference from runner up Droopys Luisao.
