Droopys Noreen has the attention of the bettors for the Grade A2 Greyhound Sporting league – Leg 3
The bookmakers are excited about Droopys Noreen’s performance in the Grade A2 Greyhound Sporting league – Leg 3, which will take place at Nottingham, on 16th March, 2012. The 500 metre race holds a purse of £120.
Droopys Noreen will be competing against Takemetherelater, Headford West, Spaceman Lee, Francospatch, and Salacres Smooth.
Racing as favourite with odds of 2 to 1, Droopys Noreen has to bring her best game forward. Trained by T. Hackett, her previous performances lacked speed.
The daughter of Boherduff Light, out of Droopys Mynah, was a favourite on 10th February, 2012, and she managed a victory in the Grade A2 Greyhound Sporting - Leg 1, where she defeated Mother Machree by 4 ½ lengths.
After this performance, the b***h lost her flare as she finished in last place twice after this race. Based on the fact that she is familiar to this track, she is gaining popularity in the market. She finished fifth in her most recent race, in the Grade
A1 www.Betfred.com Stakes, at Nottingham, on 5th March, 2012, where she finished before Topper Queen.
In this race, she has the backing of the bookmakers and they are hoping that she will live up to the expectations.
Trained by P. Harnden, Salacres Smooth has shown remarkable improvement in his last three races. The son of Mineola Farloe, out of Mineola Plan, accomplished the victory in the Grade A2 500m flat race, at Nottingham, on 21st February, 2012, where
he defeated Clydagh Sheamie by 2 ½ lengths in 31.00 seconds.
He finished as a runner-up in Grade A2 500m flat race, this time on 28th February, 2012, at the same track. He was defeated by Bronze Tag by ½ a length.
He emerged successful from his most recent race. Harnden was proud of this performance and is hoping he will be repeating it in this race. He defeated Magical Polly by 2 ¾ lengths in the Grade A2 500m flat race in 30.83 seconds.
Takemetherelater, son of Kinloch Brae, out of Emporio Royale, is another strong competitor looking to give others a tough level of competition. Trained by A. Stevens, the hound has been in good form with improving performances.
He added a victory to his current record with his most recent race as he successfully defeated Rip Van Winkle by ¾ of a length in the Grade A3 500m flat race, held at Nottingham, on 6th March, 2012.
Droopys Noreen has the attention of the bookmakers in this race. This is mainly due to her familiarity with the track. The punters are hoping that she will perform well as her victory would lead them to cash in their bets.
The bettors are speculating that Salacres Smooth will finish in second. If he races with all his might, he might be victorious. He has raced on this track for most of his career, a fact that could work in his favour. With winning odds of 5 to 2, the hound
could prevail in this race.
Takemetherelater is likely to finish third, closely after the second place winner.
