Leading with the best credentials is Droopys Ramires, Droopys Kewell’s three-year-old black son out of b***h Droopys Darlene. Out of the nine starts that he has made during the new season, he has won four times.
His seasonal debut victory was in a Grade A3 470 metres flat at Belle Vue on 26th January after he completed the track distance in 28.33 seconds while leading by 4 ¼ lengths. Finishing the race second was Moyar Shadow.
The 5/4 favourite of the race, Baltylum Dinger ended fifth.

It took him 28.97 seconds to clock the 470 metres on 24th February in a Grade A2 470 metres flat at Belle Vue. The 3/1 joint favourite was joined up by the other joint favourite, Vatican Hamish after racing for 29.05 seconds.
Parking third was Bogus Betty.
Victory in the Grade A1 Hope Farm Chase on 3rd March at Belle Vue would have made him accomplish a hat trick but scoring second after racing for 28.60 seconds deprived him of the honour.
The 4/5 favourite winner of the race was Blue Blood. Concluding the race third was Best News.
Capturing the fourth win of the season, Droopys Ramires won the Grade A1 Stephen Griffiths 21st Birthday Stakes on 10th March at Belle Vue over 470 metres. He was through the track distance in 28.38 seconds and was in contention with
the runner up, Carrowkeal Rory, by a ¾ of a length.
Droopys Ramires is aiming for a fifth victory to get posted through the tenth outing of the season. He needs to stay alert from Low Wood Gift who has recently struck a victory and would strive for hooking on to it yet again.
