Droopys Roo to steal the show in the Grade A1 470 metres race at Belle Vue
The Grade A1 470 metres race will be staged by Belle Vue on Wednesday, 4th July. Taking up the challenge for taking home the £106 prize money are Droopys Roo, Annesborough Joe, Woodsgift Royal, Baltylum Dinger, Barntick Joker, and Rusheen Mikey.
The most likely candidate ready to visit the winner’s enclosure is the two-year-old black hound, Droopys Roo.
Ace Hi Rumble’s daughter won a 260 metres race at Belle Vue on 20th March, 2012, by managing the track distance in 15.81 seconds. She was the first one to lead, and skimmed the rail towards victory.
She won by an amazing margin of 12 ¾ lengths, and defeated, Tyrur Jackson, who finished second.
To cover the 470 metres on 3rd April in 28.37 seconds, the two-year-old took the lead, and then kept on with it towards the rail, winning by a 5 ¾ length margin.
After missing three races in a row, on 25th May, 2012, Droopys Roo won a Grade A3 470 metres flat race. She stayed towards the rails initially, and then dominated the track from the middle, taking 28.35 seconds to declare undisputed dominance.
Finishing the closest to the favourite was, Lively Biloxi, who timed the track distance in 28.43 seconds after missing the mark by a length.
Coming at terms with the third position was, Bellamore Girl.
Born in 2010, out of b***h Westmead Joy, she won a Grade A2 470 metres flat race on 15th June at Belle Vue. Breaking from the first stall, she did not pace up instantly, rather got crowded, but squeezed out towards the concluding moments of the race, thus the length’s lead.
It took her 28.37 seconds to win over the rest.
Qualifying, as the runner-up after racing for 28.45 seconds was, Boozed Celeb.
The 11 to 4 is anxiously being awaited to register a win after remaining unsuccessful in the last two races. She ended second, and then reserved the third position.
The only entry on the line-up to have won recently is, Barntick Joker. Droopys Roo needs to take him down, and fall back into her winning routine.
