Droopys Rosemary sets the Friday £750 as the target after conquering the Coral On TV b*****s Trophy at Romford
Droopys Rosemary has qualified herself for the Friday’s £750 at Romford by being the quickest of the hounds to race through the three heats of the Coral On TV b*****s Trophy over 400 metres.
The first heat was won by Soviet Josie who timed the track distance in 24.39 seconds and led the 13/8 favourite runner up of the race, Get On Paris, by a length. She clocked the distance in 24.47 seconds and was very soon followed by Lynton Beauty.
The second heat of the race saw Dave Mullins’ under charge, Droopys Rosemary, completing the 400 metres track distance in 24.02 seconds which proved to be the least possible time that any of the other contestants took for concluding the race.
The runner up, Pretty Chilly, finished the closest to the winner after racing for 24.30 seconds. The 5/2 favourite of the race, Daughter Of Peg, took 24.96 seconds and could only manage the last position.
The third and final heat of the series was won by Fabulous Agenda who reached the other end of the wire in 24.08 seconds and took charge of the final 1 ¾ lengths.
Bubbly Africa pared second after racing for 24.22 seconds while the 13/8 favourite of the race, Jennas Pony, settled the race in 24.58 seconds.
Droopys Rosemary, Droopys Kewell’s two-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Droopys Geneva, started racing only this season and has been active seventeen times. Out of those 30th April was the fifth time that she posted a victory.
Her first success of the season was in a 400 metres race at Romford on 17th January as she completed the trip in 24.28 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Blue Louie, by eight lengths.
The very next start was at the same venue, over the same distance and surprisingly the runner up was same as well. She took 24.52 seconds on 24th January for winning the race.
If she keeps the performance intact by Friday, May 4th for the final then once again she will be able to pair up victories, something that she did at the beginning of the season.
It was after a long spell of ten missed race that the two-year-old finally struck a victory.
