Droopys Stig to steal the 6th Leg Pick 6 Jackpot at Yarmouth
The Grade A1 6th Leg Pick 6 Jackpot has attracted Droopys Stig, Jackdaw Summer, Hugos Dancer, Darian Marvel, Mullpark Flora and Bit View Emma. The race will be held at Yarmouth over 462 metres on Wednesday, 27th June.
One of the most commendable entries for the race is Droopys Maldini’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Droopys Birdie. His seasonal debut on 3rd January at Romford over 400 metres was a victory as he took 24.38 seconds to settle the race.
He lost the next three starts and then got drilled over 400 metres at Romford on 28th February. Serving just the purpose, Droopys Stig won the Coral.Co.UK Maidens on 2nd March at Romford over 400 metres. The two-year-old made it to
the other end of the wire in 24.49 seconds and had 2 ¾ lengths under his charge.
Finishing the closest by taking 24.71 seconds was Uh Oh Chongo.
The favourite, Riverside Lucy, ended fifth.
His unfortunate spell of failure lasted for the next seven races. The trainer, J. Daly, drilled the two-year-old over 285 metres at Hove on 21st May and he accomplished the task in 16.95 seconds. He then tossed a back to back win on his profile.
He won a 462 metres race at Yarmouth on 26th May by reaching the other end of the wire in 28.07 seconds. The runner up of the race, Swift Fifi, raced in after leaping through the six lengths’ gap.
He then dominated the 462 metres at Yarmouth on 31st May by clocking the track distance in 28.16 seconds while enjoying the lead of 3 ¼ lengths.
Any possibility of bagging a hat trick became the bleakest as the two-year-old ended fourth in a Grade A1 462 metres flat race at Yarmouth. Hollys Bob won the race in 27.96 seconds.
His very recent attempt was in a Grade A1 462 metres flat race on 20th June at Yarmouth. He settled as the runner up after taking 28.13 seconds and missed the chance of winning the race by one and a half lengths.
He does competition have against him today but a refresher on the determination level will get him winning the race tonight.
