  1. Do yourself a favor and stay in school. This isn't some professor telling you this either, I'm going into my junior year. If you have a high school diploma, you'll be so much better off.

If you drop-out, you'll probably make around $19,000, if you graduate, you'll probably make around $26,000. Of course these are just averages, you could make more or less, but it's highly unlikely you'll make more as a drop-out.

  2. Try to stick it out if you can.  Once you leave you'll realize that without your diploma your options will be so limited.  There are so many people out there with college diplomas, so why would an employer hire someone without his high school diploma?  Talk to your guidance counselor.  If you don't like your counselor, make an appointment with one that appeals to you.  The counselor will give you your options and may even suggest an alternative vocational program that will prepare you for a specific job while allowing you to accumulate the credits you'll need for that diploma!  Best of luck!
