Dropped my blackberry and now i have internet?

my blackberry curve 8310 is set up to where i cannot even access the internet, but last night i dropped my phone, and where it used to say GSM, next to the signal, now it says EDGE, and then i started getting all these messages that were from my yahoo email, and now i can access internet? lol. just wondering if anyone knew why that happened, and do you think i have free internet now? hahaha. doubt it but just wondering.

I have a blackberry curve and thats never happen! I suggest just go to the place where you get your phone service from (Verizon, sprint, alltel ext...) and ask them what all do you have on your plan but dnt tell them about the internet unless they say something first! otherwise its free

If you have AT&T it could be very well be that the SIM card was not seated correctly.
