Dropped my camcorder

Question

Today my brother's camcorder hit the floor!  I actually tripped over the cord while it was plugged in.  Didn't seem to hit hard.  Was blurry and then went to nothing.  Can't get into menu, can't take tape out?  Any ideas??  Thanks!  My brother is getting married this weekend! We were going to tape the wedding!!I have a GRD63EK and I did the same thing to it yesterday. I believe mine worked until picking it up twisted the firewire, bending it down.I am not sure of this as it all happened at once
