I already bought an LG Vu, but I hate it. So now I'm looking for ways to repair my 2G iphone.. and maybe return the LG Vu if the repair goes well.

My iphone's screen is cracked and unreponsive. I can't slide to unlock or do anything with the screen. The home button and the buttons on the side works.

Does just the LCD have to be replaced or is it also something else?

  1. the whole thing mate gutted for you

  2. LCD, touch input, position sensors as a minimum!

You'd be cheaper to swap the LG (Which as you know aren't too relaible cant connect to computers easily) for an iphone 3G and they HAVE released the 2.0.2 software today that fixed the issue guys in the US (Not europe) had with 3g reception (as the US 3G network is years behind us in Europe).
