  1. Good luck! I'm not gonna tell you that you can't but it definetely won't be easy

  2. 18 shots is alot...... but, I switched to the Stack and Tilt swing recently and have dropped 10 shots in 6 weeks, so go for it, work on your short game, and scoring, one pitch and one putt....no two putts, get your short game going good and you can do it.....

  3. Huh?  If you shot 4 under your handicap is much lower than 26.  Are you using the modified stableford scoring system or a traditional scoring system?  I've heard of people making dramatic improvements in their game, but it took more than 6 weeks.  I would give yourself a 6 month window.  Obviously that puts you into the fall, but you want to give yourself a realistic goal.  If you can play or practice everyday, there's a possibility that you can lower it quicker, but still not in the time frame your thinking.  GOOD LUCK!!

  4. If you want to drop a bunch of strokes off your handicap and really improve...than the ticket is to work on your short game.....like 70% of your practice time......Thats where the most strokes are left on the course by everybody including the Pros.   I am not going to go into the rest of the stuff in your question.

  5. If you are shooting under par with a 26 handicap there is something odd. Either you are very nervous or you have been sandbagging. If you really are a 26 handicap you will improve mostly by working on your short game. If you are able to get up and down when you miss the green more often than not you will lower your rounds quickly. Work on trying to hit all of your chip shots within three feet of the green. That way you can focus on hitting more saving putts rather than having to lag your up and down attempts hoping to two putt. Also, don't three putt! If you have to lay up on a putt in order to make sure you can make the second one do it! It is not worth the risk of trying to make a long putt and roll it well by the hole and end up missing the second putt. Keep you head in the game and putt every bad hole behind you, do not dwell on a hole if you play poorly. But the best way to get better is to use your confidence and have fun without putting too much preasure on yourself to perform well!
