Dropping cdl status when moving to another state?

currently hold a nh license with cdl bus edorsement disabled so no longer able to do cdl driving ,so would NH have to do this prior,Or can SC do this? i am not up for renewal until 2009 so license is in good standing

  1. There's no need to change your status.  You can simply wait until you move, and just apply for a regular license in SC.  This happened to me when I moved from Mississippi to Missouri.  They just asked me if I wanted to keep the CDL status, and I said no, and they just gave me a regular license...easy!
