You take in a lot of water, your breathing stops and you turn a little blue. It is essential that someone gives first aid immediately, by clearing your mouth and water from your system, and apply CPR, until the ambulance arrives. There are cases where victims are revived even after 20-40 mins of heart stoppage. So go and learn CPR at the earliest opportunity, for you could become a hero one day!
