Drug identification kits/general ?

so im a police explorer and we have our "own lab" and i am willing to pay and donate and drug ID kit. Whats a general screening test. this is what the kit says:

I want a kid that is pretty cheap but it can identify basic drugs like crack,meth,marijuana. The most common ones today

That's a refill for the drug identification kit just below it. These are good kits and easy to use. I didn't have time to examine that kit but there are different field testers for Amphetamines, opiates, hallucinogens and marijuana. I believe that kit contains all those but you may want to double check. That price was pretty cheap.

Hey,Dude,are you on Drug's of any sort,as you have to get your grammar correct,or atleast your spelling,unless you're from Mexico,and as for your "own lab",what do you do there?.Take Drug's??.To maybe sound 'silly or obtuse',but is'nt a 'General Screening Test' just a 'Drug Test'?.I'm in Scotland,forgive me if i'm wrong,but i don't think i am,as all my friends are falling about laughing,and i'm being serious!.My mate's take them,but i can identify most,so send me the pix and i'll tell you what you're 'going' to be taking no doubt,but i do not know why you just don't go to Google,or are you all 'Googly Eyed'??...Bye from Glasgow Scotland.

I don; think there is one.  In NY, narcotics officers are given field test kits (on which they have to be trained by expert officers).  The trick is that the test requires that ahead of time they "know" what drug they are looking for.  The Meckes-reagent looks for heoin, the Duquenois (sp.?) looks for marijuana and the Cocaine-Salt test for...well, cocaine.  Officers are required to have a working knowledge on what drugs look like and how they are packaged, and therefore determine which test to use.
