Drug interaction tylenol and penicillin...can I give both of them together?

Is it ok to give both to my 3 year old? She just of a perscription to penicillin, and I want to give her some tylenol too.

  1. There is no interaction between penicillin and tylenol.  I would check with your pediatrician or pharmacist for the proper dosing.


  2. Yes, you can. The one is antibiotic and the other is a pain killer/fever reducer,therefore

    they have different actions.

    I'd be careful with the Tylenol though, there can  be a toxic reaction since it's metabolized in the liver
